I have read alot of posts saying that the saginaw PS pumps from one truck or another make more pressure. It seems no one is quite sure what and what years and since alot of parts stores have the same part # for all of them it has remained a mystery. I found this link to day that has "P" type pumps rated at different pressures and it tells what they were off of. It seems like some of the GM stuff had both pumps. ANyhow, the link is below. I have never dealt with or heard of these guys, so if you call them and they are dicks or if they send you a POS pump, dont be pissed at me. I just thought this might be a good referance
