dude the more you post on this site the stupider you sound.
i dont think that you know anything about the close knuckle 70, if you did you would know its much stronger than an open knuckle 70. have you even ever seen one?

As soon as I get this front 60 in, I'll be on the right track. Also gonna put in a doubler very soon. So, I'll be 14 bolt rear, 60 front, 39.5 tsl's and be down to 120:1. I think I'll finally be happy ;) :D

what made you go with the 14 bolt rather than a 60 rear?
i know the 14 is a little stronger but wont it hang up on rocks?

Strength and price were the deciding factor. I found one with 4.56 gears that I picked up for $100. All the 60's I found were $100 also but didn't have the right gears ;)
Also, I shaved close to an inch off the 14 bolt. It should be okay.

2 RC 60s laying on the floor 1 in a parts truck, one in my truck, two more on their way, and I don't have enough time to do anything with them. I don't know why people can't find these things. They are not that hard to find. No they are not for sale.

Uhhh... because people like you have 37 of them behind their house and won't sell a single one? :p
