A brief description of Bend-Tech EZ:
Bend-Tech EZ is a software program developed for both the experienced and the rookie tube benders. You will reduce scrap and cut your projects time down significantly.
Select 1 of 52 templates (more available via email once registered). Most templates are available in outside, inside or centerline dimensional input. If a template cannot be found to match your job, a custom part can be created using lengths and up to 6 bends.
Define your own material and tooling library. The library is your tooling and the materials you use. The material library includes diameters, wall thickness and weight. Even the color of the tube can be defined.
The next step after selecting the template, material and tooling is to enter your values into the dimension fields. The dimension fields can accept both decimal and fraction input. As you are entering the data the cut length, bend locations and bend angles are automatically being calculated and displayed. In addition, a to scale shaded part is displayed at the same time.
The final step is to print out the setup sheet. The setup sheet includes the cut length, bend locations and bend angles. It also includes material and tooling data from your library. To top it off; a sketch of the template and the shaded model are both included on the setup sheet. The values are output in either decimal and fraction to the tolerance you would like to work with.
This product is so EZ to learn; most customers pick it up in about 5 minutes. Don’t be misled, Bend-Tech EZ is very powerful and will be useful every time you are bending.
