where can i get a quality brake line tubing cutter?
i bought one from a local auto shop, but its a piece of shit...it wont make a dent in 3/16 tubing.
it just looks like a mini vice with a little metal disk that is supposed to cut the tube, Clamps down, rotate and repeat...but like i said...its POS, anyone got any suggestions on a decent piece to look for, im gonna check a bunch more shops tomorree.

That is the correct tool. It is a tubing cutter. Sounds like you are not using it correctly.

Right tool but might be the wrong size for the tube your cutting. I have one that can handle from 3/8 to 1.5" pipe and a very small one that will cut 1/8" to 1/2" pipe. look for the real small one and take the other one back.:D

ok....then perhaps you could tell me what im doing wrong. it says it can handle from 3/16 up to 5/8.
i clamp it down, and turn it around the tube like i was directed, and keep tightening it, but it never seems to get very tight, at least not enough to make a real cut.
i must be missing something....let me know what i gotta do...

Wow. I don't know what to tell ya. If your slipping the tube between the two rollers and the blade and tightening as you spin it it should be doing it.

Do you have a small round file? if so just cut and use the end of the round file to round up the end so your double flare will work.
