OK, we have a trailer that we are going to modify to haul the Jeep around. It has a really long section in front of the axles, and I am wondering what the distance from center of axles to the hitch should be. It is going to be a 16' to 18' trailer. Is there a standard that everyone uses? If you have any pictures of different styles, let me know too. Thanks.

60/40 split on the deck........60% of deck in front of the center line of the wheel......or on tandom axle 60% of deck in front at the middle of axles(where the little triangle piece is)
