Will 1" of body lift on a TJ auto clear an Atlas with a Tera Bell-up Plate?

THANK GOD for my wife... flipped the TJ, busted Hardtop, bent the front axle, put waves in the driverside door, 1/4 and fender.... Insurance writes a check for $9,000!

I had to space the Tera bellyup down about 1 1/4 inches to clear the Atlas. I have talked to a couple of others who had to go with a 2" BL to run the skid up on the frame. Another option is to cut the skid & fab up a lower section to make room for the atlas. I still haven't figured out which way I am going to go, I want a flat skid but am not sure about a 2" BL. HTH

cut in the other direction!! cut into the tub, or jack up the tub and lower it back down on a jackstand to distort it enough for the atlas to clear. if you modify the tub enough ( grinder... ) you can do it with no body lift. the best way in my opinion. plus, this way you can go with a flat skid.

if the rig was already rolled and you aren't repairing anything major, get rid of that center console and start the cutting.
