Carnivals use them also. Buy a wrist band for 5 bucks and ride all the rides for free all day. ( That tells you how long it's been since I've gone to the fair :flipoff2: )

Yellow pages, Hospital supply store.:skull:
You could probably go to the admitions desk at the hospital and see if you can get a supplier from them. :skull:

Might check with anyone you know involved in racetrack operations - they are used for pit passes. Here's one you might like - in tyveck

Good luck with the "all weekend" wrist bands, Rich.
I was working the entrance of this last fall's women's event at the check station about 100 yds. past the event entrance sales station.
A good 30% of the spectators had not put their wrist bands on after being instructed to do so at the sales point.
A good half of this 30% argued with us about having to attached the straps to themselves.
About 1% of the 30% absoultely refused to attach the straps.
(We were instructed to not press the issue if agressive behavior ensued)
And last, but not least, one a$$hole gunned his rig and attemped to run me over in defiance of my request!
Good luck!

You just have to have cute girls attach the wristband. Your entrants will do anything they are asked once the blood rushes from their head.;)

The super chevy show I was in back in 97 had something similar to these and I liked em better than wristbands. I liked it because it was something to keep to show I was there.

Thanks Matt, great list to choose from....

At this piont we are thinking of using them for the teams and support people, but we have been tossing around the idea of using them for the multiple day spectators.

Thanks
Rich

This is what the raiders do, when you go into the Club seats, some little hottie puts your wrist band on for you

I've worked many events requiring wristbands. The problem you mention is solved by having someone from the event staff at the table who puts the wristband on the attendee and trims off the excess length. Attendees are also told that the wristband must remain on until they leave the event premises. That way anyone that doesn't want the wristband gets turned away before entering the event. People who remove their wristbands are escorted out and depending on attitude, may be given the opportunity to purchase another to re-enter.
