Curious if anybody knows if an M38 tub is the same width as a 76-79 cj5 tub...to swap the hood onto a m38

No the hood would not fit, in 72 Jeep went with a longer frt end by 3" to fit the inline six.

thats why we want to swap the hood and fenders to get a longer hood, just wondering if the tubs were the same witdth so that the hood would swap.
