Had some leaks between my adapter and tranny and transfercase caused from poor sealant application (by me while trying to hold the damn transfercase up) so tonight I decided to just take the whole damn thing out and redo all the sealant. The transfer is a 241 Chevy front half, a 241 dodge back half and rear output shaft. Shaft had to be machined a little and the adapter between the tranny and transfer had to have one hole redrilled. As you can see it lets me clock the transfer up so that it is under the frame rails and I got rid of that damn slip yoke. PITA but I think that it was worth it. :shaking:

You might want to build a bracket between your tranny and your adapter to better hold the tranny to the adapter. I went from the tranny crossover mount to the adapter. I have a NP203 behind my 700R4 and I striped all 4 of the bolt holes in the tranny. That aluminum is soft.

Got any pics of the bracket you're using?
