I have to say,
Thanks CU4WHLN, for the cool info.

I did this conversion in my 77 CJ5, It fawking rocks!
I went from 4 wheel drums to 4 wheel disks, and now I can lock up my 38 SXs!

By the way, I suggest using the ZJ's stock prop valve.

Can you explain a little more? I've got a 77 CJ7 I'm converting from power disc/drum to power disc/disc. I'm running large chevy's up front/ small chevy's in the rear with a line lock up front and wilwood PP valve for the rear. I'll be done with this stage of it on sunday. I'm wondering if you had power brakes. Is the push rod the same length and diameter of your stock MC.

I went from manual drum/drum to 95 ZJ Master w/ ZJ prop valve.

Not much to do really, but instead of getting adapters for the MC, I just cut and flared new fittings to old line.
I dumped my orginal prop valve and T'd the front and unioned the rear from the ZJ prop.

Good luck, you will love this brake system!

Man, I love the sound of howling 38.5 TSL SX's!

Ok, I got some problems with this setup now.
Brakes keep locking up! I can drive about 3-5 miles, then the brakes wont release.
I don't know much about the ZJ prop valve, so I'm thinking that the prop might be the prob.

CU4WHLN, you have any ideas?
Anyone?
