I have a '94yj, which will soon have full width d60 f&r from '79 f250HD.
I have already build some new fenders and cut quite a bit out of my tub. I also have
a 2" body lift as well to clear the NV4500 and Atlas.

So my question to all you guys running full width and 38.5 to 39.5 is, how much SOA lift will I
need to really clear those big meats.

I'm runn'n 4" springs SOA and there's tons of room and I have no body lift. Your setup right now SOA will be big and you'd have tons of room. If I had that body lift I'd go SOA on Rancho waggie springs. Talk about flex :eek:

I have a 2" BL, 2.5" waggy springs all the way aroung, lifted rear shackles, MORE shackle reversal with buggy leaf. I have tube front fenders and rear TJ flares. I clear 38.5 SX's all day long.

Loppy, your thinking that with a 2" body lift and 1 1/2" to 2" SOA springs, I should have any problems cleaing 38.5 to 39.5" tires.

2.5" Alcans SOA on D44/60 65" width. 38.5x14.50SX's, no body lift, flat fendered front and hacked rear wells. No problem here.

Shit man, you'd sky over em. Specially if you're not afraid to loose a little tin (which is obvious :D ) Go for it. ;) I would go with 2.5" springs though. 1" would be push'n it.

There's a few good ones out there. I know of a few guys that are using the Rancho waggie springs. I forget the part number, something like 2012's??? :confused: They're 2.5 lifted, beefy packs and they flex like a mutha. The waggy springs are the same width (2.5") and have the same distance from frame eye to center pin as a YJ spring. The shackle end is about 3" longer from center pin to the eye bolt, so there's more spring to flex. You may have to push your axle back a bit and go shackle reverse in front if you have'nt already, but man to the seriously flex. IMHO the idea is to get as flat a spring as you can. Much better flex. My 4" springs suck. I hate em. So keep the body lift on and go for it.

This is what I'm gunna do. I was supposed to be doing it now, but another baby came along and daddy's got no cash. :(

Do you guys know anybody who uses Avalanche's SOA spring packs. They are 6" longer than stock and are supposed to be very very flexy. Still 2.5" wide.

I've heard good things. The only problem is anything stamped with "Avalanche" is very pricey. OUCH! please pass the KY next time. :D

Those RANCH waggy springs seem very interesting. Does anybody know which part # they are. I am going to try and look it up myself as well.

i thought those waggy springs were offset so you could extend the wheelbase. am i wrong?

and fit 39.5 tsl's with Minor Triming

I'm running 38.5 claws with a 3 " body, 2" skyjacker springs, SOA with a shackle reversal and it's perfect up fron't. LOTS of flex. The rear is 1/4 elipticle so that helps the flex some but I could get a 1200 easy even before the rear setup. I used to run 39.5 boggers and they rubbed just a little but not too bad. Of course thats with stock fenders too.

i run 38.5 with regular yj springs soa
no other lift, if the axles are full width they will stick out past the fenders
yj spring packs 50 to 100 for a set of used ones
