: welding Alum. bead loc's

so who can do it. i just got some sweet Alum slots that i have been lusting over for about 2 years, now i need to loc them. there has to be more than just Champion doing it. also someone has to do it cheaper. $150 bucks a rim is a little steep.

I think 150 is a good deal they roll the inner ring out of barstock and the outer ring is machined frome plate. the material cost is about half of that price. Then they are probably making $50/hr shop time once they have all the fixturing to do it. That is pretty reasonable to me.

i'm sure there work is top notch but there has to be more than one place welding Alum. bead loc's. does anyone know of anywhere els?

i saw a set Trail Ready did, but i'm sure the cost will be the same or greater
