do you guys think that ssr or tsl radials are better. would it be better to go with a 12.50 or 14.50 tread width? im thinking either 35 1450 ssr or 36 12.50 tsl radials. im thinking that the wider tire will make me more stable.

TSL Radial all the way. SSR's are not as strong as the TSL Radial nor is the tread as deep.
If you are planning a springover, i say do the 36 x 14.50R TSL Radial.
Good tire for sure.

My cruser is on 36x12.5 radials. They look skinny compared to a bias 36x12.5 but I dig them

On our Alaska Cruiser Trek last summer I saw a 33X12.5R15 SSR fail on Bruce Loewen's BJ70 but my 265/80R16 radial TSLs held up fine....nylon is stronger than polyester.

40_Bones, how did that guy mount those lights at the bottem of his windshield on the orange/white cruiser? I want to put my lights there but cant find any mounts.
Thanks, Sean

Confer more then likey or you can do what I did, two pieces of angle and a little hex rod or round tubing works wonders.....

They are just plain old tabs welded to the winshield hinge.
Not a good place for lights IMO. He has to remove the lights to fold the windshield down. But then again I would prefer removing the windshield alltogether for serious top down wheeling. To each his own.
