For those of you following along on my Vortech head swap project, I've discovered another potential restriction. The exhaust manifolds have a cast in boss for the AIR system (emissions). This particular set isn't drilled for AIR, (nor am I required to have it) but the boss extends quite a ways into the manifold and looks like it could cause a significant restriction. I would like to grind it down and smooth it out, but I've never done this before. Can I do it with a drill and a grinding stone or do I need to get a dremel tool? How long does it take? Do you think it will be worth the effort?

Get a diegrinder and a pack of assorted die's. they can both be had for $40. The cheap ones suck a LOT of air.
