Looks good!

I am wondering how the toy stuff holds up, if it does good it will be a
good middle ground between a axle swap and the rover cv's.

Also, this is kind of a newbish ?, but what was involved in getting the rover D-shaft to bolt to the toy 3rd? Just modify the toy pinion flange?

Yes you just machine the toy flange to suit the rover drive shaft.

Michael.
