Anyone use that ColdHeat soldering iron? I hate dragging around the old always-on type and running out of cord. Also, the "gun" type are a bit big for most jobs I do.

This thing supposedly is instant on, instant off such that you can touch your finger to the tip, then touch the metal and solder and then touch to your finger again immediately.

i got this 25 dollar WL lenk gun at wal mart and it heats up in like 5 seconds hot enough to melt pipe solder and in about 30 seconds it is cool enough to touch. also, i drop it almost constantly and all i have had to do is replace the tip
