If you opt to combine parts of the 2 sets of leaf springs take the main buggy of the donor set and cut the eyes off. Take that spring and place it under the main buggy of the user set. Then take the next longest leaf without the clamps attatched from the donor set and place that on top of the main buggy leaf of the user set. You will need a longer center pin or grade 8 allen head bolt.

so this will give me a 7 leaf pack right?? is this what you use?? do you flex ok still?

It equates to a 6 or 7 leaf pack depending on front or rear. I had no problems with flex at all. The extra leafs help prevent spring wrap and sagging, but after time...I killed the springs and got tired of looking for 2 sets at a time so now I run the Wagoneer front springs. They flex great and are real soft, but I don't see these lasting too long.

find a source for some super cheap springs and buy alot of them and just keep changing them out... or go to someone like alcan and have some longer custom springs made to fix the problem for good. you will have to change around your spring hanger locations, but this is how avalanche engineering does all their spring overs, and i have yet to see any of those springs fail.
