Okay here is the thing. I got a 95 vortec 4.3 and I want to get the stand alone harness for it. The motor I have does not use a distributor. My computer has 5 conections on it. The harness at painless haas only two. Now I have found out that the diference between the two is the distributor. Is that the only difference between the two? Can I just put a distributor in my motor and get the right computer for it and run it?

Get a Howell for a 94-95 4.3

Yeah I figure i could get a different one. However I can get the painless one cheap. SO does it sound right? All I should have to do is put a distributor in my motor and get the computor to match the harness and it will work?
