I'm trying to install a dual steering stabilizer on my 90 Sub. Only I can't seem to remove one bolt from the stock stabilizer. The bolt that goes to the tie rod. I removed the nut that has the cotter pin but the bolt wont come out!!!!!

I would take it to Four Wheel Parts and let one of the pros do it.

I wasn't sure if that bolt was threaded into the steering tie rod! Could I damage the alignment of I use brute force on the bolt?

just beat the fuck out of it it will come out
what you realy need is a ball joint separatior to beat in there
but you will be fine put the nut back on the bolt ( just a few threads dont bottom it out) and beat the nut it will pop
