They're all the same base tire, just grooved differently.

So... I guess that the third pic (the one where they are stacked) is how they come from the factory?

Notice the link I put in the first post? The guy whose running them said:

4 ply nylon (like standard BFG tires)
2 steel belts

Maybe they won't gut themselves like suicidal fishes on the trail now...

The tire in the 3rd picture down (the stacked tire that has the rubber "ring" around the center) is the "uncut" tire. They take that tire and cut it up into different designs for trial.

I hope they come out with some wider tires (probably not much chance of that), like in the 13.5-14.5" wide range.

"4 ply nylon"

(like standard BFG tires) ??? I thought they were 3ply?

"2 steel belts "

"Maybe they won't gut themselves like suicidal fishes on the trail now.....Let's hope they fixed that!"

Hheehe. Yota_San, that's some funny sh*t!!! And unfortunately, all too real. I've gutted a few myself.

What do yall think about running a 17" rim though. BFG wont make anything big in a 15".

I think most people are going to 17s anyway. On the other post about these tires, they said that the 17" wheel helps when you turn.
