Using the demo of Bend Tech 2.0 (not ez, downloaded the wrong one, but if i can get this to work right or figure out where i'm wrong, i AM buying ez). The first image has the dimensions of what i'm trying to make. The second and third are the same layout, the one just has the given measurements and actual measurements of the layout pictured. what am i doing wrong? i've tried giving linear measurements and (sort of accurate) angle measurements. and i still get stuff like the second and third measurements. haven't quite figured out XYZ mode yet, else I'd try there.
Try laying out my first image and let me know if you get the same thing.

bluesman helped me out on JU...I entered the same specs (material and tooling and dimensions) he did though and it won't process the sketch and take me to the layout. i downloaded the ez trial last night too, but the lack of tooling adjustments is rough to test it with, but it does look like it will work just fine once i register it. gotta wait till next week to get paid. well, have a lot of work to do...i'll post some pics once i finish bending/fitting/tacking everything together. looks pretty sweet as it's coming together though.
If you can, buy EZ 3D. It's got the same interface as EZ, but allows 3D work as well. Uses a custom template.
I've got both and used both on projects around the shop. 3D spoiled me. I wouldn't trade 3D for NOTHING!!! Cost isn't much more. I got a feeling it's gonna be one of my big sellers :D

I had the same results. Without going through an entire training class, I found it worked better to flip the part over.
