Oh.. I wanted to know this just to get a rough idea of the difference in Labour and material cost between the US and Pakistan... Someone quoted 2000 dollars for a soft top on a mercedes truck... I was curious.. I only had this pic so I posted a wrangler..:D
Well anyone??
PS... I think I posted this in the wrong forum.. It should have been in the general 4x4 section... Sorry

Supertops are between $349.95 and $600.00 US.

I didn't notice your location:eek: labor is probably cheaper there...the stuff we get is usually made in china anyway:D
BTW. I had a bikini top made a few years ago, had some camoflage sail cloth for them to use, I ended up going to a boat shop...they make covers afor boats and had the heavy sewing machines. Cost me $35 but that was a few years ago. Hope this helps:skull:

They did a pretty good job. Used a very heavy thread on it and metal buckels. A friend has it on his Jeep now, looks just as good as when it was made.
The key, I think, is to use heavy duty cloth and hardware. You may not be able to find sail cloth, so try and fine the heaviest canvas you can , and have it sewn with cloth thread, not nylon (and double stitched). If the nylon thread breaks it'll start unravelling the stitching.
Take a lok at a military canvas top if you can.

that jeep is wrong on so many levels. a guy over at the colorado4x4.org boards just got a custom soft top made for his gwagen (looks pretty much like a square jeep with the top totally cut off) for about 1400$, maybe another 600 on top of that too. so pretty expensive.
