I remember a while back that Lazarus had his blinker switch break and Hooper talked about using a three way toogle switch.

That is what I am trying to do.

I don't know what all the wires in the steering column are:
Black = horn
Dark Blue = ?
Light Blue = ?
Brown = ?
Purple = ?
White = ?
Yellow = ?
Green = ?

I have a '77 IH SSII with a painless kit that I put in about two years ago. Don't have any of the papers for the kit ( I don't think it told me what they where, just where they go anyway).

Black = horn
Dark Blue = Right Front Turn Signal
Light Blue = Left Front Turn Signal
Brown = feed from emergency flasher
Purple = feed from turn signal flasher
White = from brake light switch
Yellow = Left Rear Turn Signal
Green = Right Rear Turn Signal

Common GM colors, whole column is GM.

A toggle would need to seperate the front from rear or both front signals would illuminate while brakeing, also seperate the left from right while brakeing and signaling together. A new turn switch would be alot less headache
