Im regearing tomorrow and just wondering what kind of gear oil you guys recomend putting in the diff :beer:

If it is mainly a trail rig, I recommend inexpensive oil and changing it alot......it is a good way to know whats going on the those chunks. But if you got the extra jack$$$, put in the high tech synthetics add teflon additives........

since mine is a trail rig only not a daily driver i go with the cheaper but still good quality because i change the only quiet frequently.

I get my brother in law, who owns a heavy duty shop, to pick me up the 5 Gallon jugs of 80W-90 Esso Syntech. It is about the same price as regular gear oil that you buy at a large chain store.
