Hello All..

Well time has finally come to start putting my FJ80 front axle back together. A couple months ago I pulled off the motor for the Electric locker and sent the 3rd member off to get the 5.29's installed...

I started to rebuild the axle the other day and when I grabbed my box with the 3rd member I noticed a small spiral spring and what looks like a simple alluminum tube that looks like the spring sets inside... I assume these fell out of one of the holes in the 3rd member.. For some reason I thought there were 2 of these, but only find one now...

And my question is where do they go back in and what are they for.. It looks to me like they go into the holes that have the small allen head screws on them.. Are they used for switches or indicators or something to tell the ECU when fully engaged/disengaged???

Any help would be muchly appreciated..
