Does anyone happen to have the part number for the Air Locker Assembly that applies to the front axle of a 1973 FJ40.

Well, sort of.......

The front axle application is for a FF - #RD02

The rear axle application is for a SF - #RD08

But, it you ever break a rear pinion and need to swap in your front third member, you are hosed if you have a FF locker (no place for c-clips).

I would run RD08 front and rear just for the flexability even though it is a SF part number.

Are you looking to buy an ARB soon?

I just placed an order on Friday.......I just told the guy I wanted one for the front axle of a 73FJ.

As an after thought , I got confused about the part number issue. Now it seems that I'll have to call him back and clarify the issue.

How much are you going to want for it and the bigger question why are you going to get rid of it? I already have one in the front and I love it I'm thinking of putting one in the rear also.

I am not sure on the price. It will be with a 4.1 fine spline third member as well (stock 12/78) I am replacing my current rear axle with another one that already had different gears and a locker.
