can someone tell me how to get the steering arm off of a dana 44. it is the one that is semicircle in shapoe and on the driverside of the axle. we removed the three nuts that hold it on and cant seem to get the arm itself off with the help of our 5 pound friend SLEDGE. we also tried using the gas hammer to loosen it up and nothing changed.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hit the cone washers with a chisle where they split. Then beat the hell out of it. Or you can try and remove the studs.
