When questions in life arise turn to the Bible (http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/bible/index.html) .
I've never done this, but I heard...
First find the old guy that will not move from the main building, strike up a conversation about buying a axle. You want a 70's Ford F250 front Dana axle (Hint, don't say 44). When he shots you a price, offer him 70% of that cash today. ($150-350) Then ask him the direction to find a kid to cut the axle free of the truck.
Now find someone new to the yard and the bussiness, tell him he needs to cut an axle from a truck for you. Ask him to wait and you'll find one you like. Now go find a HD F250 with the front Dana 60. Have him cut this axle free and wal law.
Not that I premote this, only passing along info I've heard.
