well i dont know how it happened yet but my flipped 300 in my TJ blew up. it split the case down the side and knocked a whole in it. i need to tear into it and see what caused it. so far i dont think it was my flipkit. hell i dont even have a front drive shaft to gettting the case in two diff ranges was not possable and as you will see from the pics it has plenty of oil. the thing that bothers me the most is that i busted it in the road, never made a sound. i just pulled in my driveway and went inside for beers and burgers. then on my way out the door to go to class i had a fawking oil slick under my jeep.
more pics will come when i get it torn apart.

How many miles did you put on it?
4:1, output upgraders?
Have you pulled it apart yet to see if any teeth are missing.
My guess is that a set screw on one of the shifters came loose and turned into a projectile. :nuke:

Looks like something got pinched between the gear and case....sucks.
Watch your gears for tell tale scars from whatever was floating around in there.

Been there, done that. Mine was a couple teeth from the cluster shaft gears came apart and got 'in between' the other gears and Blamo! The good thing is that there are usually enough people around upgrading to 4:1's with stock gears left over and cases can be found for about $50.
