I busted my Arse to try and finish the OBA today. Spent about 12 hours on it. I'm so close I can taste it, but alas so close but so far. I'm short one barb fitting, still need to wire the power and switch, and the clutch is not engaging on the compressor. May need to swap the one I pulled off to sell with the A/C system.

Hoop here are the inventory pics.

More parts for, I'll have under $150.00 into the project when all is said and done.

Here is the layout of all the componets, take up a lot of dam room under the hood.

Here are the pics of the tank (need to hack the handle off) mounted under the rig, and the couplers mounted in front and back. Tomorrow if I have time, I'll wrap it up, and post some under hood shots.

Damn..I'm jealous!
Are you going to paint the tank :rainbow: ?

FWIW, Rockslut has OBA and if he hits the switch when he is above ~1500 RPM's, it blows the line from the compressor to the conglomeration of fittings off. He has a nice tumor in his hood now from this:( . He has an airhorn, which is the only reason why you would run one at that engine speed. However, I figured that I'd let you know that you need to run hard line if you plan on using an airhorn or :blender: at high speed.

Joel

5 Gal, $35.00 bucks at the Autoparts store, the tank comes with a combo, pressure relief and guage.

I thought about a :rainbow: scheme, but I know Lance runs the same :rainbow: on his propane (?) tank. I'll leave it yellow for now, it'll be covered in mud soon enough. :D

Does he run a pressure relief valve, or is it from too much pressure at startup? Hard line is a PITA, if it becomes a problem, maybe I'll swap out the fittings that blow with HL.

Lance painted his tank shortly after the Snorts guys did that...

RS uses a pressure relief but the rubber line blows off before it can relieve itself. This only happened when he tried to use the horn when cruising down the road. Although, he hasn't installed a tank yet...that might help.
