I'm a newbie, so let loose on me. :flipoff2: I have tried to get this question answered before I went here, just to let you know.

Ok, I'm getting ready to drop in a built 304 in my YJ. The previous owner has had problems keeping it cool in the past, untill he got a 4 core radiator. (I was riding with him, and it seemed hot, but I don't think that he ever had a working temp gauge)So I start calling around, and this radiator guy said that he would reccomend running a flex fan(constant), since I'm gonna use it for mostly slow moving. I also want an ele. pusher for extra insurance. He tells me that he has a 2 core that has the surface area of a 3 that will do the job.

What is everyones opinion on the constant fan over the clutch fan?

I'm gonna be running an oil cooler/pwr steering cooler.

Should I insist on a 4 core custom, or at least a 3 core. Do you think that this 2 core will do fine that he is trying to sell me.

I'm trying to get something that will bolt on the stock radiator supports, and still have enough surface area to cool.

If there is anything that I left out, post and I'll fix it.

Thanks,

JR

Go with the four core. If you are going to spend the money then get what you really need. I told you so is ok, but whom will have pay for the four core when the two core won't work? You will not the other guy. If you will have all the extras up front then you will want the most area for cooling you can get.
