Trying to decide between the Hobart Stickmate AC/DC welder and the Lincoln AC/DC arc welder. Leaning towards the Hobart because of the infinite adjustment feature. Lincoln is only $30 cheaper. Lincoln is 365 and the Hobart is 399. Any oppinions.
And the DC feature is woth the extra $150 on these right?

I'd get the Lincoln...and yes, get the DC option.
In my opinion either will work just fine. I prefer the infinate adjustment heavily over the fixed settings. And yes DC is the way to go.

I agree, go with the infinite adjustment of the Hobart/Miller.

I like lincoln, but both are pretty solid.
Thanks guys. Think its going to be the Hobart.
Hobart AC 30-235 Amps
DC 30-160 Amps
Lincoln AC 40-225 Amps
DC 30-125 Amps

I can't say enough good things about Hobart. For a stick welder, you are going to really want the infinite adjustability.
