I've been thinking about doing the same color on mine for the longest time, but not really sure if I want to. My friend loves my Sammy the way it is and really doesn't want me to go OD green. If I do want it, I think I will do it tan. I used the paint program on the computer to see what it would look like; you could probably do the same thing with yours. Doesn't look great or anything, but it gives you an idea. I know Randy Ellis' is OD green, but he doesn't have too much body left. ~Steve

He probably has shackles at both ends of the springs, and a link system to locate the axle front to rear. Not all that uncommon.

A low buck way to make a CSC style shackle reverse is to install a shackle to the stock front mount and then weld a plate between the frame and the shackle at the desired angle. Gusset as required. I have seen this done couple times, simple, cheap and looks nice.

well as i said earlier i went to look at the winch, looked good, and now its on my zuki......:D ......its made buy "Travel-Pro" it looks kinda funny, but its 6000lb, works good, and now i don't have to use that crapy come-along.......:D .....and its only power in with freewheel out, o well..... so my controls are mounted right beside my rear defroster.......
well must go vask in my winch........

Hey for a $100 it's worth it a shot. If it turns out to not be too reliable you can always get a Warn down the road. Then just mount it to be a rear winch where you only need it occasionally.
