Brandon 01-27-2002, 06:02 PM I am in the process of putting wrangler springs on my 53' M38 A1. I got the jeep hangers for the fronts of the springs but haven't found anything for the rear. Pretty sure I want the shackle in the frame just like stock - so what size tube do I use to fit a bushing in? thanks ROKTOY 01-27-2002, 07:02 PM 1.5" schedule 80 pipe works well. It is 1.9" od and 1.5" id Can't recall exactly which Wrangler bushing fit but one of 'em does. Works great for springs, track bars, crossmembers, etc. Jay Eric 01-28-2002, 08:10 AM I use either 2" x .250 DOM or 1.75" x .120" DOM for shackle tubes. I also use the YJ bushings since they are 1.5" OD and 3/4" ID and come with steel sleeves for 1/2" and 9/16" bolts. | |
