i've looked around and i know that DOM is used for rollbars, and i can get some .120 wall 1 3/4" (OD) DOM that i could use, but i was told that it is less then 1/8" thick... is this strong enough??

if it is, how do you recomend bending it? it will kink, is there anyway to get around this, or will it not affect the strength very much if it's gusseted at the bends? the only bends i need to make in it are the bends that turn it from the windshield to the floor.

thanks.

DOM IS COOL IF YOU CAN GET IT FOR A GOOD PRICE........STRENGTH COMPARED TO WELDED SEAM IS ABOUT THE SAME......ITS JUST DIMINSIONALY CORRECT..IF YOU SEARCH YOULL GET A ISH LOAD OF INFO......

FOR BENDING GET A TUBE BENDER OR FIND SOMEBODY WHO DOES.......SEARCH THIS TOO.......

1/8"=.125

I think .120 is strong enough fo a roll cage

I've seen .120 used in quite a few rollbar plans. That should be ok..
