If you're running SOA and have plenty of room between your stock ScoutII oilpan and front axle than I recommend this modification. Retains the stock pickup and should hold an extra quart or two. I will be adding a baffle inside to keep the oil from sloshing around too much. Took about an hour to modify the pan.

Great Idea. I might do that to my caddy pan.

Neat mod, Jeff - looks like I could get a little more oil capacity than I do with my 74/75 truck rear-sump pan.

Opted for the truck pan so I could run a bit more oil and hopefully prevent oil starvation during sustained high RPM romps and not wipe out any more rod bearings. :D
