Ok, here is my situation. I have a Chevy NP205 transfer case out of a 1980 Suburban. Unfortunately, but as ususal, I got the only year that had a NP205 with a slip yoke output. On the bright side, I can pick up a IH NP205 for pretty cheap.
If I get the IH NP205 will I be able to cannibalize the necessary parts off of it to make the Chevy NP205 that I have a fixed yoke output.
I realize that anything is possible, but I mean without machine work or reinventing the wheel, just a quick painless swap?
Thanks in advance for all of your help. I did search on this subject, but either I'm too dumb to properly use the search function, or I am using the incorrect terminology.
Thanks Again,
Dane
