i am looking at swapping in a ford 9" into my 86 f150. i currently have a 8.8 with 4.10's and 35's. i have enough power to go 75 consistantly on the hihway with the 4.10's but when i am towing my CJ i can barely go 60. i am thinking of lowering my ratio(numerically higher) but i dont want 4.56 cause i think it will be to low for daily highway driving and will lower my gas milage too much. i guess my question is do yall think i would have a noticable difference if i went to 4.33:1(offered by Randy's) or should i go 4.56?

I'd say go with the 4:56 to 1 setup... If its too low guess you could move up to 37's instead of 35's..
I dont actually know anyone that has run 4:33's...

I actually considered running 4.23 gears but i am going to go with 4.56.
