With driving back and forth to school round trip of 65 miles 3 times + a week I've decided to get something more road/gas friendly (A volkswagen)
So anyway, my blazer is now for sale. It is a:
98 Chevy Blazer
4 door
Silver
89k miles
4.3 V6
Dana 44's front and rear w/ 4.88 gears and a lockright out back
It is leaf suspension up front with new superlift springs (make it handle nice on the street, decent for flex with the long shackles) It has Rancho adjustable RS9000's up front and RS5000's in back.
The axles are from a 80's wagoneer up front, and a late 70's wagoneer out back. It is sprung under now, but used to be sprung over, therefore has a hi steer setup. The driver knuckle is a factory knuckle, passenger is a parts mike and the arms are shakerbuilt arms. It has a cherokee 4in drop pitman.
The tires are 35in general grabber MT's on 15x10 rockcrawlers.
The engine has a blown head gasket on the passenger side, but starts and runs, but is passing coolant out the exhuast. Can not be driven far before it overheats until it is fixed. It no longer has a radio.
The front bumper I made out of all 1/4 in steel, and has two 100 watt lights on it with a relay and kill switch. Setup to turn on with hi beams or off if the switch is off.
It has some body damage on the rocker pannels which I started to push out. I will include the 6 cans of duplicolor and gallon of bondo from when I started to fix them. There is a small dent in the tailgate from a branch.
It needs longer brake lines for trail use, but are fine on the street. Can be a fun project with a little work.
Interior is in good shape, rear seats fold down, all interior works (power windows, locks, cruise, heat, power glass pop in back, etc)
AC works but takes a can every now and then of charge, about a can every 3 months of R134A (about 4 bucks a can)
Can be picked up via trailer or shiped. Buyer pays shipping to anywhere in the US, please check shipping rates.
Up top are some pictures of it through the phases in imagestation. The nasty bumper is gone, the nice one is on. Any questions reply or email me at Crzykev03@aol.com
Enjoy!
