SO about a week and a half ago I went and picked up some used 35" Super swampers Type unknown at the time.
As I walked up to them I got stoked cause they looked like SSR's and had about 70% tread left, which I thought was the SHIAT. But on the sidewall they said Radial TSL.
What's the deal? I'm sure they're SSR's but doesn't Super Swamper also have a radial TSL in thier line. These sure doesn't look like them. They definitely look like SSR's:(

there are both, there are 2 kinds of TSL Radials (new and old) the new sidewalls resemble the SSR's
ssr's have a shallower closer treadblock
tsl's have deeper traditional TSL look

look at a picture of a SSR and a radial, the SSR has a distinctive sidewall tread and also siped tread blocks.

I believe the SSR's are the only swamper that have siping.

Mine are siped, that's what I thought too, that SSR's were the only siped ones.

also I don't beleive TSL radials are available in 35, if so it would be a very wide 35 definatly not a 35x12.50

My SSR's only sy TSL Radial on them, no SSR on the sidewall.
I've had mine for 2 years, running the Rubicon ect. & driving to & from the trails. About 8000 miles total. Have'nt had a problem yet.

SSR stands for Super Swamper Radial.
They don't say SSR on them anywhere. The Radial TSL is different. If it has siped tread blocks and the sidewall looks like this tire's, it's an SSR. Period.

SSR's are the only ones that come siped from the factory, and look just like Yota_San's pic.
You seem to have Radial TSLs, which are much better than SSRs. SSRs sidewalls are JUNK.
Here's the links to Interco who manufactures both tires:

HTH. BTW, check out their new Super Swamper LTB tire...it would be nice to see these in 36x12.50x15 size:
