I have a new problem.. I can't figure out how to wire up my windshield wipers. They only work with the switch in the high position. There are four wires coming out of the wiring block on the fire wall that go to the wiper motor, but there are seven wires on the motor. I've looked at several different trucks, to figure the mess out. The problem is I looked at another 78' that had the same color wires, BUT his truck has two more wires than mine.... Anybody got any ideas??

Well....does your switch have the same number of connects as his? If so are you missing 2 wires? If you have no "empty" connections on your switch you will need a new 1 that will have them. Then you can run the 2 extra wires and your done.....;) :beer: :D

I had a friend look at it that is good with electrical problems. He thinks that the harness on the firewall is out of a later model truck that had wipers on the column. I am going to try to get some wiring diagrams from different years to see what I can do.:beer: :beer: :beer:
