: Pinion flange

Did a search & couldn't find a post that answered my question so here goes...

I've got a spare 3rd member that has a fine-spline pinion, but small bolt-pattern.

I need to know what year pinion flange to get that has fine-spline, but the larger ('76+) bolt-pattern.

Thanks!

You can re-drill the flange to accept the larger flange from the driveshaft.

What are the dimensions of the bolt pattern?

I did not know you could drill the square flanges. I have only drilled the circular flanges.

I thought about doing that, but if I don't drill the holes perfect, it's gonna wobble.

I was hoping that I could just get a fine-spline flange with the correct bolt pattern already on it...

Don't your flanges have a centering ring on them?

had the same problem and called to price new flanges, seems like they were close to $100 from the dealer, and most yards won't let you steal just the flange.

Drill it, just my .02 cents.

Pic n pull has em, but good luck finding one that will work with the fine splines. (in my area atleast) but if you could find one it would be $14.

Let's just say I was at Pick 'n' Pull.... What year should I be looking for?

Or would a minitruck flange work?
