try a search on JU for the front bumper, there are some cad files there on it, nothing on the rear, built in place and welded to everything. the spair is mounted to some runners that are bolted to that rear hoop and the tube inbetween the wheel wells that the shocks are mounted to. kinda hard to see with the black.
here is a pic, dosen't have the mounting plate welded to the tube yet.

Nice! Very clean work, I love the look!

Gets me thinking, that might be a cool way to cut a FJ60. Cut the back end of the frame and body off and have a small bed area behind the rear doors...

Hey Brent, are you going to reattach the Comanche trim piece behind the rear door? Seems like that kind of helped with the lines there. Not that it doesn't already look nice. :) Jeff

Jeff no, I junked the stock axles, and put in some moser alloys with 3" from WMS to the outside of the bearing, (2 1/4 before) then the rotor slid over the studs moves things out a little further, just right now.

the only stock tin in the quarter pannel is the outside skin, the wheel well is cut appart and put back together with galvanized, the top of the bed rail is 2x4x.120 tube, the back where the taillights are is galvanized with a 1.5x1.5x.120 tube the inside of the bed sides is stainless, the floor is stock, and the whole bumper mounting system and adjoining sheet metal has been removed and the 2x4x.188 wall tube welded in to the frame rail, floor, spring hangers, bed side support, and everything else I could tie it into.

Brent,

Yea - what everyone else already said:flipoff2:

But, any ambitious photochoppers want to do it up in OD green with Black steel beadlocks form me to drool over :p

Serious question Brent...... since you are such an absolute wizard with the bodywork...how about doing some EB style cut-out doors...you know, with just the bottom bit (don't know the proper term).

Or maybe some cool tube 1/2 doors to match the fenders?

C'mon...pleeeeeeze give me something to copy.

nice work

I got pics of it OD green, no shit, the primer was od, and I was so close to leaving it that way, but the door handles and mirrors ect were all chrome :( not going to go buy new ones in black when I got free white paint sittin there waiting to be sprayed.

I'd love some half doors, but my problem is the power junk in the doors I've got, if there was a plug I could just unplug the door and remove the thing, then put it back on, I'd get serious about it, but my air still works, and its rather nice in moab in july wheeling with the air on :D

thats damn nice lookin brent, kinda like the seldom seen lamborghini truck, remember those?
on the rear tire mount, it doesnt leave much room for gear, is that not a problem? i for one need the space of my FJ55 for family outings, though i have thought heavily of cutting it and just putting more stuff on the roof rack.
again, thats real nice looking a clean. good job.

looks way cool man. did you ever consider having the fuel filler on the passenger side, and mounting the spare vertically on the driver's side of the "bed" for more room back there?
are you going to put some kind of protection/shield over the exposed filler line?

didn't think about standing the spair up on the one side, but I think I can get a couple of tool bags to fit under and to the side of the tire, second battery, spair axles and drivelines fit behind the rear seat, and I could put more tools there. a cooler will fit to the side of the tire, just have to make a way to strap it down, and depending on the trail, I won't take the spair, and maybe make a basket to bolt in place of the tire. and one day I will cover those filler lines.
