I am about to replace my rear axle on my 90’ ¾ 4x4 due to the fact A. its bent and B. id like a newer setup any how……. So I am looking to find a list of what years of truck had what axle and such so I don’t get fucking jacked at the yard and sold a shit bag axle. IM hoping to set up to a 1-ton disk set up!….. And also match it w/ a solid front axle…. Thing wont relay see a lot of hard off road Acton but id like to be able to take camping trips in it and not get hosed blowing ifs crap everywhere!….. And it’s mostly a tow rig…. Any how… I searched for a bit and didn’t find any kind of a list of axles and such so thought I would ask.
Thanks!

Unless you're going to be doing some serious hardcore off road there is no reason to spend the money on a front solid axle conversion.
I'd figure out what gear ratio you have and go to the junkyard and find a matching axle to swap in.
Finding a vehicle newer than your '90 in the JUNKYARD? With discs? Good luck!

well i have no motavatoin to get a new rig, and mine is due for a good over haul.... so i figure why not make something nice out of my truck...... i priced out stuff to do a full rebuild of exisinting stuff and then add a lift and its silly not cheap.... its looking like it would be cheaper to do a sos on my rig and be better off in the end..... i have a yard i deal w/ here but they leave axels in a big stack so i need to be able to tell whats what... any how thanks..

73-80 3/4 ton and all 1 tons up to pretty much present had the 14 bolt ff that you want. You can do a disc conversion on them really easy.
Edit: if you buy a 1 ton axle, make sure it isn't a cc or a fleetside dually rear end. That will not look right being several inches wider or narrower than the front
