Hey,

well i just got my t18/d20 put in. however, all is not wonderful like it should be. for example, if i'm in 3rd or 4th gear at road speeds and let off the gas, i hear a grinding noise coming from the tranny. even if i press in the clutch and take it out of gear, the noise continues until i slow down to a certain point and then it goes away. if i leave it in gear and let engine compression slow me down, it will eventually kick it out of 3rd gear.

also, the tranny grinds while trying to downshift sometimes, like from 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd.

i had the t18 rebuilt before it was put in. the d20 was not rebuilt though it was rinsed out and given fresh oil.

not sure if this is a related problem, but i've got a bad engine miss around 2000rpms, and the miss seems to get worse the higher the gear i'm in. however, as soon as i press in the clutch, the motor revs smoothly.

i'm severely depressed that after all this time and money my CJ still isn't right. can you guys please help?
