Just traded in our 02 raptor 660 for a new Grizzly 660 and man all I can say is that grizzly is one bad 4x. We blew up our tractor a couple of weeks ago that pulls our swisher mower around so I had to do something. I don't miss the raptor one bit after using the grizzly for a little bit or work and then taking a run through our woods. This grizzly can go places the raptor never dreamed of especially with the diff lock engaged, near vertical is the only way to describe it. They even threw in a 2500lb warn winch for $69.00. So the bottom line is if your wondering whether this 4x is all they claim, it is. Shawn

Those Grizzly's look real nice! I don't know if I could let my Raptor go for a big 4x4, but I don't need it for utility like it seems you do.

two completely different machines.. two different purposses... but damn, i know exactly what your saying, and I had the little brother of the griz back in the day, the old Timberwolf, which was weak as hell. Barrowed a buds Grizzly, and DAMN... went out with him a few days in NCa while back... i use to race my other TRX250R, so i took that out in the woods at the time (timberwolf was stolen), when it came to a creek or something, i was finished if I couldnt jump it or something, plus, clutch work was a biotch... anyway, enough babbling... good move.

Gotta let you guys know the front brush guard isn't worth a sh*! though. I litterally rolled slowly under no power into an 8" tree today and it tweaked the driver side pipe back into the plastic. Good thing I own a chain and that Da*! 8" tree was still standing! Tweaked it back just like new and its still weak as he!!. Oh and after market large treads suck on dirt roads, they'll vibrate the poop right outta ya. Stick with the stockers they work almost as good and ride 10 times better.
