What are the differences in the hoods from a '73 FJ55 to a '76 FJ55? Will a hood from a '73 fit on a '76?

The hoods will interchange. The difference is cosmetic: The 73 will have a flat hood with two 8 inch shallow ribs on each side. The '76 will have a bigger bulge with louvres in the back you can see from the cabin.

watch your air cleaner when swapping the early hood to a later model...that's why the later model has that funky raised section.
