I have seen the new SM465http://www.pirate4x4.com/ubb/icons/icon2.gifDana20 adapter plate that Novak is making that is 1" thick (http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/kit_462.htm ). This adapter uses a new mainshaft. I seem to remember people on this forum talking about using a 1" adapter plate and cutting the stock 2WD mainshaft for use with a Dana20. Can this be done? I can't seem to find the old info on this.

I'm not sure if it can be done, but it sounds feasible. The 2wd 465 is 35 spline so a custom 35 spline bull gear would have to be used.

Oh, OK.

I meant to say Dana20 in my header also.
