ok so i just got my 4runner running great, and so i notice antifreeze on the floor mat on the drivers side. anyway im suspecting the heater core, or one of those hard pipes leading to it.
anyway for a easy quick short-term fix, anyone see a problem in ripping out the heater hoses leading into the firewall from the engine bay out, and coupling them together?
also i think ihave tried to pull them out before but was afraid i was going to break something. they are hard to take off, is there any trick, or do i just pull the shit outta them? :confused: thanks.

Splice em together until you can get em fixed.

I once bought a new heater core, straped it down in the engine compartment and ran it that way till I had time to tear my dash apart.

Do what you gotta do.
