can you use d44 axles from a chevy in a ford hp d44, in a 79 ford, or are they different lengths?

Axle shafts SHort side, there is 13/32 differeance between the Checy and the Ford inner short side shaft. Ford is longer. On the long side shaft it's about 1" and thus will not work. I've most axle shaft for Ford listed on my site, in chart form, follow sig. | |
